SmallNews 0.2 is available for download. The main new feature in this version is the ability to convert RSS feeds to PDF optimized for an eBook reader such as the Sony PRS-505. This reformats the page size to fit the 6” screen typical of most eBook readers. You can see a sample of the output here.

v0.3 will be coming soon. This includes two new features:

Improvements to the layout of the full page PDF, including page numbers

Specific enhancement to The Guardian handler to order the articles in the same sequence as they are in that day’s printed newspaper (in the RSS feeds, the articles appear in a different order, which often separates related articles)
