SmallDVD 2.0 beta 3 is available for download. Two new features in this release:

• Drag and drop video files into either the menu preview or the file list. If you drag multiple files at the same time, would will be prompted for the title of each in turn.
• Burn the DVD directly from SmallDVD. If you choose this option, the disk image .iso file will still be retained after burning.

A couple of known issues:

• There are occasionally a few harmless Applescript errors. The places I’ve noticed them are (1) when loading a previously saved DVD definition, and (2) when dragging video files while the “DVD menu” tab is highlighted, not the “Video files” tab. In both cases, you can safely ignore these
• No control over the DVD writing speed if you choose to burn the DVD directly from SmallDVD. Also, if you have multiple DVD burners, it will pick the first one which appears to have a writeable DVD in it. If you want to specify a particular drive or burn speed, I suggest you continue to use Disk Utility for the burning, as before.
